Now really the main reason that a person should want to start to exercise and eat right is in order to make them more healthy. But as well as this, there are many other reasons as to why either hitting the gym or even working out in the comfort of your own home can result in you having a far better quality of life and in general making you more happy in the process. Back in my let’s just say unhealthy days, I would go to work, come home, eat my dinner and then pretty much just collapse on the sofa for the rest of the evening until it was time for bed. It was not so much that I was lazy, but I was just so exhausted. I found though that once I started to exercise regularly I did in fact have far more energy, which meant I had more get up and go and I was wanting to do more things rather than just wasting away on my chair each evening.

This one right here was the one thing that made me realize I was in horrific shape. We went on a family holiday one year and I simply could not keep up with my kids. They were always having to wait to me to catch up or wait for me to have a rest and it absolutely killed me that they had to do this. I felt like I was spoiling their vacation all because I had let myself go. That was the catalyst for me to realize that I needed to change. I have always loved my kids, but now that I am in better shape I can have more fun with them and I can almost keep up with them.

Most of the things that you read about fitness and exercise will focus on the internal benefits that it has on your body. Which, do not get me wrong, is very important, but let me tell you guys something. As superficial as it sounds there is nothing better than months after you have started your work out regime when you give yourself a look in the mirror and think “yeah I look great!”. And let me tell you guys there is nothing wrong what so ever thinking like this. You have put the hard work in at the gym or at home and now you can see how that hard work has paid off with your fitter body. You should be as proud as a peacock when it comes to your new and improved healthy body.
Reason To Exercise : You Will Live Longer & Have A Better Life
Those of us who make an effort to get in shape and watch what we eat will in general live a longer and better life than those who are not healthy. This is a proven fact that the better care we take of our bodies that the better quality of life we have as we get older. Even people who think they are too old to exercise, let me tell you there is a type of exercise for you no matter what your age is and it’s never too late to start!
