5 Shortcuts To Losing Weight

Ok so maybe the title of this article is a little misleading as I and I am sure that many of you people read thing know that losing weight is far from easy! But truth be told many of the principles of losing weight are quite simple it’s just having the motivation and the willpower to stick to a diet that is the real hard part. Anyway today I want to share with you a few tips, theories and ideas that are really simple and if you follow them, then you will lose weight!

Get That Red Meat Out Of There

If you are something of a burger connoisseur then that could be something that will greatly hold you back when you are trying to lose weight. Ditch the red meat all together or at the very least eat it in moderation. You can still eat meat. Just build your diet around things like poultry and fish as these are much better when cooked the right way at giving you all what your body needs without packing in the calories.

Say No To Fried Foods!

Say No To Fried Foods!

While fried foods at the carnival for example may be such a tasty treat, the fact is fried food is just terrible for you and will make you put on weight. Instead of frying your food cook it using much more healthier methods such as grilling, boiling and roasting for example. This way you are getting the food made in the best way for your diet. I am a big advocate of grilling as it makes the food taste great and it cooks really fast!

Stock Your Kitchen With Your Diet In Mind

By this I mean when you are going out shopping only buy food that is on your list and make sure you stick to it! By keeping things like cookies, milk chocolate, potato chips and all that other tasty, but very bad for you stuff out of the kitchen you are not able to eat it! So stock up your kitchen with things like apples, bananas and other types of healthy snacks. This way when you are getting hungry for a snack you can grab a piece of fruit rather than a candy bar. By keeping the fatty and high calorie food out of your kitchen you are also keeping out of your body!

Have Salad Before Or With Your Main Meals

One of the best habits you can get into when you are wanting to lose weight is learning to have salad with or before your meals. This not only gives you some good and healthy food, but it will also fill you up so that you do not over eat at dinner. If you are having a tough time with your portion sizes and you find that you are overeating when you are not meaning to, try and fill up on salad before you eat!

Cut Out The Cola

One of the biggest offenders of stopping people losing weight is diet soda. People make the mistake of thinking that because a diet soda has diet and sugar free written on the can that its fine to drink. But even the diet sodas have things in them that make it hard for your body to burn fat. So while they are not full of calories like a regular soda they still can put breaks on your weight loss. Ditch the soda and drink water instead and you can potentially cut out thousands of calories per week!
