While in theory eating no fat and next to no calories will make you lose weight, people will pop those no calorie artificial sweeteners like they are coming out of a Pez dispenser. Your body needs fat! And consuming food with healthy fats actually helps you burn fat. These zero calorie diets are just a horrible idea for long term weight loss. I still do not fathom how the term, zero calorie diet even exists.
Bad Way To Lose Weight : “Magic” Weight Loss Pills
You have no idea how much I wish that these so called weight loss pills actually can make you lose and keep weight off. How much easier mine and every other person’s life would be if losing weight just required popping a few pills each day. Now the good news is that some of these weight loss pills and I am talking the kind you can buy over the counter not off some shady internet site. They can actually help aid your weight loss, but only when used as an aid to your diet and your exercise. Sorry to tell you, but there is no pill that will make you lose weight on its own.

It seems like each and every week there is some new fad diet that is changing the way that we think about weight loss. This is not an advertisement, but there is a darn good reason that companies like Weight Watchers and Slimming World have been around for as long as they have and that is because they help you lose weight and keep it off. Most of these fad diets that pop up are designed to get you to drop pounds as quickly as possible. The problem with this is most of them have no plan at all for keeping the weight off. There is nothing wrong with using a diet you find online, just make sure it’s a well-established one with year of positive results.

Yeah I know, disgusting. Yet people have been abusing laxatives as a way to lose weight for years. I mean in theory it sounds great. Eat what you want and then get your body to get rid of it as soon as possible. Problem is using laxatives when your body does not need them can lead to all kinds of issues such as pretty bad and nasty abdomen problems (we are talking pains like you are getting stuck with a knife!) and it also can vastly weaken your digestive system.
