I do not know a single person who does not want to be happy in their life and I am sure that you the person reading this is the same. Many of us like to think that today or tomorrow is going to be the day when we turn our lives around and start making sure we are happy and not let things get us down. Well, sadly this is far easier said than done and by the end of the day we are stressed and ready to throw in the towel. But today I want to share a few tips and ideas that can help you in general live a happier life.
Figure Out What Causes Your Stress & Stop It
One thing that not enough people do is sit down and write a list of all thing things that bring stress into their lives. I am talking about an absolutely 100 percent brutally honest list here. Write down all the things that cause you stress at home and when you are at work. Once you have done this you can then see which ones you can eliminate. For example if one of your daily stresses is having to listen to peoples BS during lunch at work, then stop eating lunch with them! ItвЂ™s really that simple find out what is stressing you out then try to get rid of it.
Find More Time For Yourself
Now I want to you to sit and think about all the things you commit to on a weekly basis. I take it that if you are looking at this article then you must lead a busy life and want to be more happy. Well, look at your commitments and see what ones are really not vital in you and your familyвЂ™s life. Getting rid of just one thing a week can give you a free hour where you can take some time to just chill and not have to be at the mercy of someone else.
One way to make sure you are more happy and less stressed is to stop putting off something you can do now until tomorrow. People who leave doing things to the last minute tend to be more stressed and in general less happy than those who just get things done when they need doing. If you have something to do, the time to do it, then do it now!!! Why leave it until tomorrow, you never know something else could come up and then what will you do? One way to help keep yourself organized and on track is to make a to do list.
You Do Not Always Have To Be In Control
This one may be hard for some people to take, but the fact of the matter is the worldвЂ™s problems are not your responsibility and you do not have to be in charge of everything. People who tend to like to be in control of everything are usually not the happiest people in the world. This is because they are always worried not only about what they are doing, but if other people are doing what they want them to. There is no need for this at all. Just worry about your life and doing what you need to do in order to make sure you and your family are happy. The world runs a lot smoother and at a more relaxed pace when you are happy, trust me I know what I am talking about here.
