Losing weight can be quite the frustrating thing. For some of us it happens to slow. While a nice and controlled weight loss is always the best way. For those of you who are at your wits end trying to shake of that fat as quickly as possible, we have some ideas here that have worked for other people. No matter if you have a holiday coming up or a high school reunion. We are sure that at least one of these tips will help speed up your weight loss.
Eat Before Seven
The general rule is that you should try and stop eating for the day at least 3 hours before you plan to go to sleep. This gives your body a good amount of time to work of what food you have eaten for the day. Also this means that itвЂ™s best for you to eat your biggest meal at lunch time. This way your body has the most time to get rid of your biggest meal of the day. Think about it this way, say you have your mail meal of the day at 5.30PM and then sit on the sofa for the rest of the evening. This is not maximizing your weight loss now is it? But if you have your biggest meal of the day at lunch time. Then you have hours to be walking around, going up and down stairs and doing things to help speed up the weight loss process.
Snack On The Right Food
Hey we all get tempted by that amazing looking flapjack in the vending machine. But if you want to lose weight and lose weight fast then snack on foods where the calories in them are actually less than the amount your body uses to eat them! Witch craft I hear you say, but I assure you this is true. Food like celery, watermelon, cucumber, lettuce, green beans, grapes and pears all do this.
Detoxing will give your body a reboot by flushing your system of things that are stopping it running the way it should be. There are a million over the counter things that you can buy which will give your body a detox. Truth be told there is no need to but the really expensive ones. As long as it says detox on it then it will get the job done.
Do As Much Exercise As You Can
You may not want to hear this, but the fact is the more exercise you do then the more fat you will burn off. I am not saying that you need to be in the gym for two hours a day. But make conscious choices throughout the day to do things that will make your body work. Little things like taking the stairs instead of the elevator and walking to work instead of driving are great ways to burn off some bonus calories. If time is an issue, but you still want to work out, then try the million 20 minute workout DVDs that are out there.
Drink Plenty Of Water
Drinking a litre of water a day should be something you are doing anyway. But drinking water is a great way to help give your weight loss a boost. You see by drinking water you are keeping yourself hydrated, but you are also filling your stomach with water instead of food! Also when you do not drink enough water the messages your brain sends to your body often get confused with you thinking you are hungry when you are actually thirsty.
